Buyers who use the cart (plus a discount, but that's not relevant) and paypal to purchase a PDF of my book are given a screen that let's them D/L the PDF WITHOUT any stamp on it.

This is a TOTAL disaster for my small attempt to control pirating of my book, which I just spent a year writing!

The email that buyers get DOES have a link to the stamped PDF, but NOT this screen.

And since the screen comes FIRST, buyers are MORE likely to get the unstamped, anonymous version of the PDF.

PLEASE HELP!! Some people have already bought the book. Now my distribution plans are all in the garbage!

HELP!

It's the THANK YOU page that's giving away the UNSTAMPED version of my file.

we grant the buyer access to a thank-you page we generate for you

How do I turn that off?!?

Ok, I found the bug and circumvented it.

I provided my own Thank you page (no download code) and removed the link that page (or any think you page) from the invoice email that buyers get.

(Buyers get a receipt from paypal, then an invoice from EJ, then a D/L link from EJ).

So the bug is probably still there, but I just went around it.

Case closed for me/watch out for you!

I already responded to your emails about this issue, but here's my reply in case anyone else with a similar problem happens across this thread:

E-junkieGuruit sounds like the stamper was taking too long to stamp your file, so redirecting to a thank-you page on your site and making the buyer wait to be emailed a link to reach their E-junkie-generated thank-you/download page is stalling long enough for the stamper to finish. We've only seen that sort of problem with extremely large PDFs, like over 20 MB or so, whereas your file is only 3.3 MB, so we're not sure what could be going on there and would like to look into it further, if you could email us a copy of your original (unstamped) PDF to examine and test.
