Paypal has a new interface to process payments, it seems much more customer-friendly.

E-junkie even redirects to the old interface.

The question is, some configuration is required for E-junkie redirect to the new interface paypal ..?

Thanks.

Hello,

If you use Buy Now buttons for your products then you should be able to connect with PayPal's newer checkout process, but our Add to Cart buttons are still going through the standard checkout.

Thanks.

at some point add to cart will be able to access the new interface PayPal..?

The issue is that the new mobile-optimized PayPal Standard checkout does not yet support PayPal's Instant Update API that we use for shipping recalculation, which lets PayPal callback to our system to ensure that shipping charges (and tax, if relevant) match the final shipping address the buyer provides during checkout.

Since our Buy Now buttons do not calculate shipping, we do not pass Instant Update parameters to PayPal checkout for those buttons, so PayPal can show the buyer their new mobile-optimized checkout in that case. I've asked Development to investigate whether we could also feasibly omit sending Instant Update parameters for Cart orders that do not have any items with Shipping enabled.

Another way around this is to use PayPal Payments Pro, as that uses a different method of integration with PayPal's checkout site that does support shipping recalculation.

In my case no shipping is included, so work for me if adaptation is carried out.

On the other hand, according to what I read, paypal pro does not apply in Mexico, so it's no option for me.

The question is, is there any estimated time when the shopping cart e-junkie has the option to redirect to the new PayPal interface.

I worked very well with e-junkie for many years, but right now I'm seriously considering abandoning because of this detail.

21 days later

Greetings.

In my operations there are no parameters for shipping costs and taxes.
