Hi there, I just got the following email from Paypal:

----

Hello Giacomo Guilizzoni,

We're pleased to inform you that PayPal is upgrading your free fraud tools. Starting in February 2009, Risk Controls will be upgraded to the new Fraud Management Filters. Your current settings won't change, but now there will be a "pending" status that allows you to manually review risky transactions.

What do I need to do?

For the new filters to work properly, your web developer or cart provider will need to update your PayPal integration. To get started, visit:

Do I need to do anything?

Your question could probably be better answered on paypal forums.

I am curious about this too. The email is quite specific about asking this question of the cart provider.

If you configure your Fraud Management Filters to simply "Flag" a payment, E-junkie will treat it as a normal payment.

If you configure your Fraud Management Filters to "Hold" a payment, E-junkie will treat it as a "Pending" payment and depending on your setting in E-junkie seller admin > Payment preferences, we will process it or not immediately. If you preference is set to default (to NOT process pending payments like normal payments), then we'll only process the payment once you login to PayPal and approve the payment.

If you configure your Fraud Management Filters to "Deny" a payment, E-junkie does not get to know about it and thus has nothing to process.
