will this affect e-junkie
Effective February 12, PayPal will be making minor changes to the Payflow PNREF (transaction ID) in the production/live environment. There will be an alert placed in the PayPal Manager notifying merchants of this change.
The changes that we are making are designed to allow merchants to perform reference transactions against transactions that were processed through a different processor (i.e. allowing them to perform reference transactions after they have changed the processor on their Payflow account). As you may recall, we released the PNREF changes in the pilot environment in July 2013.
As a reminder, we are changing the first and third characters of the PNREF. After the February 12 release, new PNREF’s will begin with either an “A†or a “B†and the third character will identify the card type used in the transaction.
