Hey, I'm trying to update our customers, but under the update command, our most recent products aren't showing up (the ones we want to update)Bug? Andrew
You can only send an Update for products which have Single File Download enabled. Also note that the Buyer Group list(s) you select to receive the Update need not match the product you're sending Update links for. If you aren't issuing new download links for the latest version of a product's file, then you would just be sending a Newsletter rather than an Update.
Right, "Single File Download" is enabled for all products and I'm still not seeing them under the "updates/newsletter" function.
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.updates.htm NOTE: Products will be unavailable to send Updates for if they are set to Send Stored/Generated Codes, or are using Inventory Control, or are using the Send Payment Data to a URL (Payment Variable Information URL) feature. You can send Updates for such a product by temporarily disabling those features in the product's settings, then re-enable them if necessary after sending the Updates.
It appears you have "Send transaction data to a URL" enabled for your newer products, so you cannot send Updates for those products unless you disable that setting, at least temporarily until you have sent the Update.
