Hi,

Yesterday someone bought an item from my shop and paid with paypal, I did have the 'Wait for pending payments to clear before processing' option ticked in my preferences. However as paypal email came to me straight away I thought the customer would get a download link email but no! There is still no record of this transaction on e-junkie.



I have now unticked the 'Wait for pending payments to clear before processing' box in case that's what was causing the delay.

Thank you. It appears that I had to 'claim' the payment in paypal and then everything went through OK. Is there a way to receive payments for e-junkie purchases in paypal without needing to claim them manually each time?

To be quite honest, if I have to manually approve each payment from e-junkie customers in paypal then there's not much point in me being on e-junkie at all, as the whole point of being here is that customers can buy and download instantly and not have to wait for me to be checking my emails.

There should be an option within your PayPal account to make the process automatic.

It said as it was an unfamiliar email had to approve, which is a pain since every customer will be an unfamiliar email. Is there no indication it comes from e-junkie??

When we send order data, be it from the E-junkie Add to Cart or Buy Now buttons, it includes instructions to send the order data back to us after checkout is complete. If PayPal does not send the order data back, it is due to settings within the PayPal account. You will need to check with PayPal to make sure their system automatically accepts payments for you.
