An affiliate of mine has multiple websites related to one of my products. He wants to add a "SUB-ID" to his E-junkie URL for my product so he knows which site/page is generating sales. I've seen posts talking about this feature from 2009. Has this been implemented yet. If not, why not and when can we expect it? And if so, where can I find documentation to refer my affiliates to? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

This older post explains how to add a custom value to affiliate links that can be used to track which page, ad or site was responsible for the referral on a sale. The &aff_custom= parameter will pass a value that we report back in the affiliate's sales notification. Any other parameter they add will be passed through the link as well, but collecting those values would require that you set something up within your site as well:

So while we've not yet built in full support for sub-IDs the &aff_custom= parameter will at least do what your affiliate is looking for in this case.

Whoops, unfortunately &aff_custom= has not actually been implemented yet, but that's one of the top wishlist requests we'll be able to start tackling once our new Admin panel finally goes live.

Thanks for the reply. Hope the new Admin panel goes live soon.

Cheers.
