Hi

I have two types of products configuration one with variants having individual price + variants which tell more about the product and one configuration only with variants which tell more about the product.

I have free shipping for US and $5 for other countries. Today I received an Order from France and the product was with the first two option checked. The person did not have to pay shipping and this really bothered me. When I did a edit product I saw that the products with two options checked do not offer weight ounces and the cart will not calculate shipping. It is a glitch in system. Now what i am supposed to do? Some product will have shipping charges and others will not.

Please help.

Elena,

With Variants (Products having a different price, etc.) you specify the weight in ounces in the Variant details.

This is the formula for setting up the Variant details:

SKU,Price,Ounces,Stock,Option1Value,Option2Value,Option3Value

You specify the 3 "Option Values".

Make sure you've entered the correct weight in ounces in the details. For example, if you are selling shoes that are $25, weigh 3 oz, you have 50 in stock, Option1Value is Color, Option2Value is Style, and Option3Value is Size... Your Variant details should look something like this:

SRP8,25.00,50,3,Red,Pump,8

SBF7,25.00,50,3,Blue,Flat,7

Etc...

Thank you for such fast answer. problem has been solved. I hope you read this answer because I have another question. After I enabled PayPal pro to accept credit cards, the confirmation e-mail and the PayPal shopping cart don't show the product option, in my case Ocean, music, silent ..so on. Google does.

It is a mistake from my part? What should I do? it is very hard to look in e-junkie and in paypal and write down each product option so I will ship the right product.

Thank you again.

Elena

If you look in your transaction log in E-junkie's Seller Admin it will show the SKU in the logs.
