Guys,



Recently when I reactivate download links for my products, my customers get the following message when they click on the actual link to download the product.

By any chance, does this only happen with Stamped PDF downloads, or other types of download as well? Also, is this only happening with reactivated links, or does it also happen with any newly purchased links?

After further research, it appears that error would be produced by a reactivated link for a Stamped PDF over a year after the original order, so Development will be fixing the bug that improperly allowed reactivation beyond that timeframe. You can simply issue the affected buyer a replacement link using "Send free download link" in your Seller Admin, which would issue them a fresh Stamped copy of the latest PDF you have uploaded for the product.

I really, really need this bug fixed now. I am backed up with a dozen customer requests because they cannot download their files - one customer alone has 35 files to be replaced but this bug is keeping her from being able to download them. Please can we have an update on when this unacceptable bug will be fixed, it's an urgent matter. I sold over 15,000 files since being an ejunkie customer. I can NOT possibly manually send each file to all the customers who need it.

Unfortunately, storing Stamped copies for longer than a year is just financially untenable for us, but when we first rolled out the Stamper, the programming to clear out old copies was left unfinished and never got completed, so they just kept building up. We recently realized over half of the download storage we were paying for at Amazon was comprised of all those old Stamped copies, very few of which were ever redownloaded again after the initial purchase, and even fewer still more than a year after the fact, so we finally completed the programming to take care of that.



Of course, buyers who kept a copy of their original download can simply access that file on their own computer anytime, without needing to redownload it again. That said, I've brought up your scenario with Management, so we're looking into possible solutions for you now, with our apologies for the inconvenience.

I understand the financial concerns, but please realize from your customer's standpoint this has been a huge bomb dropped on me. I have been an eJunkie customer for 4 years and the files have always been available to my customers without limitation I've relied on that and grown my business here. Now without any warning to me - and not giving me a chance to warn them - 4 years worth of links are disabled. Having to send them manual free links is a burden on me - not to mention I don't even have a clear idea of how many customers have been retrieving their own files after a loss, computer failure, or whatnot - and now when those links don't work they will all be coming to me for manual replacement.



Thank you for continuing to work with me on this, I hope there will be a solution to help me. It has been a huge source of angst for me these last few days now that I know what is causing my customers' failed links and I have no idea how I will cope with refreshing their links.
