Hi, I was wondering if there is a max weight for the calculation of shipping, and if there is any way to get around it other than flat rates?

I have a product that is 150 pounds, or 2400 ounces, and need to be able to calculate the shipping based on location, as the price varies greatly for different destinations. Is there any way to do this through this system?

Just to clarify, for my product that is 2400 ounces, the cart does one of two things upon entering zip code: It either shows -error- as the shipping cost, or gives a price (e.g. $88.19) without any options. (My cart is set up to have multiple USPS options as well as UPS)

The $88.19 would be from UPS and the error from USPS. USPS does not have shipping calculations available for us for anything over 70 pounds or 1,120 ounces. There is not a work around for this. The reason there is not a work around is that our USPS shipping rules send weights to USPS' servers to calculate shipping and we cannot get calculations for weights over their max. 1,120 ounces.
