As I understand it if i integrate with Aweber it will send out on opt-in email to every product buyer..which means they get yet another email on purchase! is this right and is this also the case with Mailchimp?



I want to use an email autoresponder service so that i can ask for testimonials after a week or so.. i want to avoid them having to opt-in first just to get this email later?

Aweber will send an opt-in e-mail, there is no way around that it is their policy. I cannot say if MailChimp does the same thing, you would need to check with them to see if they send an opt-in e-mail or if you can just have them send an e-mail after one week.
