It seems from what we have done so far that we must use paypal for payments etc for our afliates.. is this correct? Some people seem to not like paypal so that maybe an issue. Also does one have to have a website inorder to be an affliate? THanks for your time ...

Although most merchants pay out commission earnings through PayPal as a monthly lump sum to each affiliate, and we provide a monthly commission report file that you can upload directly to PayPal Mass Payment to make payouts as quick and easy as possible, you are free to pay out commissions by whatever method and schedule you wish.

See the Pay Your Affiliates section of our affiliate system's help page for further details:

If you will not pay out commissions monthly via PayPal, which is the typical and expected method, we would recommend clearly stating your alternative payout method and schedule to avoid any misunderstanding or disputes. If you do this, we would recommend having a dedicated page on your site where you recruit affiliates and explain your payout policy; you would place your affiliate sign-up link only that page and have any other affiliate recruitment links pointing to that page. It would also be a good idea to paste the URL of that page in your E-junkie Seller Admin > Affiliate Program Settings > More Information URL field, so affiliates can find their way back to that page easily using the More Info button in their Affiliate Admin.

Thanks for your help....

Two more questions ....what if a person who is refered to my site thru an affliate does not want to pay with paypal? How do we solve that problem? Some people do not like Paypal...it seems to me that they are forced to pay thru paypal unless i am misreading this..

Second question...does one need a website to be an affliate...seems that you do...
