Hello, newbie here, so sorry if it's a stupid question.

If I go with E-Junkie to handle subscription payments for my website, will the site's domain name be known to PayPal etc when a payment is made?

TIA

Our system has no way of handling recurring payments such as a periodic subscription or installment plan. You can use PayPal Recurring Payments with PayPal's own Subscription buttons at the same time as using E-junkie with PayPal to sell unrelated products, and they won't interfere with each other at all. This help page provides further detail and suggestions:

E-junkie is not a payment processor, so we never handle any actual payment funds from your buyers at any point. Instead, buyers would pay you directly via your chosen payment processor, such as PayPal. In order to use our shopping cart and other features, you would need to have an account with at least one of the independent payment services we support:

We do pass a 'cancel_return' URL to PayPal which specifies the last page of your site the buyer was on before they proceeded to checkout; this tells PayPal where the "Cancel and return to [business name]" link on their checkout page should take the buyer back to. Moreover, if you're trying to conceal your site domain from PayPal because of products/services that may violate their Acceptable Use Policy, they would probably violate our Terms of Service as well:

Thanks for your answer, it's exactly what I needed to know. It wouldn't be a recurring subscription, just a one-time small payment for unlimited access.

My site's services don't violate your ToS, but I'm unsure whether they would violate PayPal's. The thing is they won't give me a straight answer even when given a description of the services (the site is still in development).
