I need to have 3 shipping zones: Ireland, UK and rest of world.

I know that e-junkie only allows 2 "zones" at the moment - domestic (Ireland) and international.

I am wondering if a way of working around this is 2 have 2 e-junkie accounts, with the same products in each?

Account 1 would have the Irish rate as the domestic rate and the UK rate as the international rate and would only ship to these 2 countries.

Account 2 would ship to all other countries with the rest of the world rate specified as the international rate.

I would then have 2 store pages on my site: one for Ireland & UK and an International store for all other countries.

However, this is just a theory, and I have never used e-junkie so I don't know if it would work in practice, or if it's even possible to have 2 e-junkie shopping carts on the one site?

Thanks for your time.

That could certainly work. Just bear in mind that products from the 2 separate accounts could not be added into a common cart together; a buyer's cart can only contain items from a single specific merchant and site.

To prevent buyer confusion, you'd probably want at least a dedicated section or page of your site for each "version" of your store, if not completely separate sites. The idea here being that it should be hard for a wayward buyer to accidentally wander unawares back and forth between your Isles store and your International store.

Many thanks for getting back to me on this Tyson.

I understand what you're saying about needing to separate the stores, but it's great that this is technically feasible.
