I am not sure if what I am trying to accomplish can be easily be done using e-junkie. I want to send a coupon or free ebook to a potential customer who subscribed to my newsletter and provides me an email address.

You can log into your E-junkie Seller Admin and click "Send free download link" to do just that.

If you would rather have a coupon code that discounts a regularly-priced product to 0.00, you can set an Item Discount code in the product's configs -- which would only apply to the price of that item and could be used any number of times by any number of people -- or go into Seller Admin > Edit Cart Discounts and create a code that discounts 100% off the item total -- which would apply to sales of any items but could be restricted to a single use. Free Checkouts (0.00 cart total) are limited to 100 per day per Seller.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that I can send free link manually, but what about automated way? Can I send a triger equal to paypal payment and link to ebook to be sent without my interferance?

Thanks,

Fred

If you price a product at 0.00 (or the buyer uses a discount code that makes their order total 0.00), the buyer can proceed to a Free Checkout, where they would provide their name, email and (optional) company and phone before gaining access to their download page. Perhaps instead of having them subscribe separately first and then giving them the download, you could have them subscribe ~by~ ordering the free download product?

Thank you. I think that will work. I am trying to obtain potential customer info from Aboout me page on ebay. Not sure if anyone done that. I think I will need to place button on about me page and somehow grab their email address. Is anyone done that, that I can see sample of how it works?

Fred

We wouldn't know anything about that; we can only support obtaining an email address that is provided by the buyer in due course of taking an order through checkout.

Is E-Junkie have default check out screen for free downloads that I can point a potential customer and after they enter email address they get a link to download ?

Fred

You can create a free product, which will take buyers to a default checkout where they provide their name and email address, and then are given a download link.

You'll just want to keep in mind that free checkouts are limited to 100 per day.

Got it. Thanks. I think it will work for me. Will be back if I have any technical issues.

Fred.
