i have a book with 2 volumes available for sale. So ideally i would like to list "the book" and then sell volume 1 for $3.00 then volume 2 for $3.00, and both bundled together for $4.00. But each volume has its own download file. Does it need to be 2 different product listing ? txs

Yes, you'd need to set up each file as its own product, so that's 2 products, then you could set up a 3rd product as a "package deal" that would issue the first 2 products' files.
