I have had several requests from customers wanting me to send an invoice. I thought this was automated, but that doesn't seem to be the case. What needs to happen for an invoice to be automatically sent alongside each purchase?

Payment receipts are normally sent from the payment processor's end (e.g. PayPal), where the buyer can also look up payment details in their own account history. However, card-based direct payments using PayPal Pro do not go through PayPal's checkout site, so PayPal does not send a receipt email in that case, so you can customize your E-junkie thank-you pages like an invoice as described here:
