I am not able to download using IE. I get a popup that asks i"do you want to few only the the webpage content that was delivered securely? If I click Yes or click No I get the same error message:

Unable to open Internet Site Operation aborted. then I get an IE screen Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage .

I had tested months ago with IE and no problems.

Can you tell me what may be happening and how to fix it?

Thanks for looking into this. It seems to have cleared up because I'm not getting the error message now either.

I'll let you know if it keeps up again and I'll send the transaction ID

Which IE version do you use? I have discovered that IE 6.0 is more and more useless with today's internet. There are many websites not working with IE 6.0 anymore - and this number is increasing rapidly.

1 month later

Update, I'm getting a lot of customer calls that they cannot download. It seems to be traced to outlook express to IE. When I tell them to copy and paste they are able to download.

However, if I send the file using yousendit.com they have no problems using the link, meaning they access a webpage and download the file using their same software but not with an e-junkie link.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

This is becoming a really big problem for me. I have added the 'copy paste' instructions to the email but as you can imagine people don't read and further some don't know how to copy and paste.

That sounds like it may be related to an apparent bug introduced with the latest batch of Windows Updates for February; unfortunately, the problem doesn't seem to be anything we have any leeway to work around from our end, so we just have to wait for Microsoft to release a bugfix, hopefully in the next Windows Update batch for March (second Tuesday of every month). This discussion in our forum covers what we've been able to figure out and can suggest so far:
