i want to integrate e-junkie with aweber.

my ultimate goal:

i want to set it up so that whenever someone buys my product they will be automatically added to my list.

and i also want to add them to another completely different list

i know there is a field in ejunkie called

common notification url

payment variable information url

what should i enter there . just the aweber list address ?

should i enter both or just one field ?

how exactly should i test the email parser .

i tried entering several things but i am not able to get people added to my list automatically

yes. i know . i followed your instructions exactly and even tired different combinations and several things. but i am not able to get an AUTOMATIC OPT IN to even one list . let alone two different lists.

You can replace your aweber e-mail in the integration URL with a regular e-mail and you'll see that we are indeed sending out the required email.

My understanding is that no one can be automatically added to your Aweber list unless they confirm the link that Aweber sends. That's an Aweber thing, not an Ejunkie issue.

Yes, that is correct. Our Aweber integration only has us submit the buyer's name/email to Aweber, which then sends the buyer an opt-in confirmation email with a link they must click to confirm their subscription.

Also, while we can do this for every PayPal Standard/Express checkout because PayPal's checkout site does not provide a newsletter opt-in/-out preference, other checkout methods that provide a newsletter opt-in checkbox would require the buyer to tick that box to have us submit their info to Aweber.

If you require having all buyers subscribed to your mailing list, we'd recommend using MailChimp's E-junkie integration method instead:
