I'm a newbie doing my first site. My site will sell a couple of ebooks and give away a couple of ebooks that have links inside them with my clickbank code embedded.

That sounds fine to me, but If I was going to offer for Affiliates to help market my ebook, then would the fact that I'm giving away additional ebooks with my clickbank code inside, would that cause potential affiliate marketers to reject my deal? They would still make i.e. 50% to 70% of 19.95.

If the ClickBank affiliate codes in your eBooks are for other sellers' CB affiliate programs, not for your own CB affiliate program, I don't think that would interfere with CB affiliates for your own program; it would probably be of little concern to them, as long as they earn a commission on the product they're promoting for you which is actually being paid for.

I suppose there might be some concern if you're promoting affiliate programs which some of your own CB affiliates also happen to be promoting, as your CB links would set referral cookies that could override other CB affiliates' links for the same program.

This page explains how to use E-junkie with ClickBank if you haven't looked into that yet:

We also have our own, built-in affiliate system, so you might consider using that rather than ClickBank to promote your own product, eliminating any potential conflict of interest with CB affiliates promoting your product:
