There is no "best size" for the button image. We have had merchants make buttons images smaller then the ones we provide, where as others have made the button the size of a large photo. You would just want to pick the size that best meets your needs and the desgin of your website.

Ok but if I want the same size as your buttons, what is it?

Also, I need to change the checkout buttons as well (because they are in English) and I like their size. What is it? More specifically the Paypal checkout button and the 2checkout ('pay with credit cards') button.

Thanks!

You should be able to view the dimensions of any image online using the tools in your browser, usually by right clicking on the image and selecting an option named something such as View Image Info or Image Properties, etc.

Our basic add to cart button is 87px × 23px and checkout buttons are 150px × 47px

Again, these sizes weren't selected by any special process. You do not need to use these dimensions if you are replacing the images, even the ones in our cart.

For instructions on replacing checkout buttons in the cart, see here:

Thank you. I had tried the right-click manoeuvre but all my websites block copying so I can't get the image properties.

What about the cart header?

I know I don't have to use your pix, I just happen to find your cart view specs perfect

The "Your shopping cart" standard header image in our cart is 200px × 63px, but your custom header can be as wide as 700px without altering the standard cart dimensions.
