  1. I added my listing to my e-Junkie Shop around 24 May and started my Paypal e-Junkie subscription on 25 June (8 days ago). I still don't find my listing in the Marketplace - have searched under both of my Category options: "Bodybuilding" and "Muscle- Building".

    My listing is : 2http://www.e-junkie.com/capefox-shop/product/505433.php2

  2. Affiliate Settings: I've ticked the option to invite affiliates to promote my e-book - do you have any recommendations on how I can find affiliates to help with promotions? I've made enquiries on the Warrior Forum but they charge a FORTUNE to place an advertisement for recruiting affiliates.

    Thank you!

Hi,

I've been able to find your product by searching for "muscle building inferno" via the affiliates search tab, but I have been having trouble using keywords to locate it otherwise. Unfortunately though, we have no control or input over the search tool so we cannot change its results and we very strongly recommend that you do NOT rely on that search tool to find buyers or affiliates.

Very few people are searching through our website at any time and the purpose of our marketplace is to give sellers who do not have their own websites somewhere to point their buyers to and a way for their products to enter global search engine results.

If you have a website of your own you will likely find it easier to sell from there and to promote your site and affiliate program through normal advertising or by getting in touch with bloggers or people who are already running the sites your potential buyers are visiting to see if they would be willing to participate in your affiliate program. Otherwise you can still have those same people point buyers to your E-junkie shop or product page instead of having them send people directly to your own website.

Once you start a paid subscription for your E-junkie account, product listings from your E-junkie Shop would also become listed in the general E-junkie Marketplace. Our site's built-in search function is handled by Google, so products new to the Marketplace would not appear in search results until the next time Google revisits our site, about every week or so. It's been over a week since you subscribed, so your product should start showing up in searches any day now.

BTW, note that none of the text in the body of your listing (e.g., "Turn your body into a muscle machine" etc.) would be searchable, because it's part of your product image -- i.e., it's just a picture of text, rather than actual text content.

Most sellers sell primarily from their own Web site, where they would paste the Cart or Buy Now button codes we provide in Seller Admin, and would paste their affiliate sign-up link code if they have an affiliate program. Some sellers even set up a dedicated page in their site for affiliate recruitment, providing instructions and tips, banner images, etc. for their affiliates to use.

Online marketing forums like Warrior Forum can be good places to discover and ask for general tips and suggestions on how to promote an affiliate program and find affiliates, even if they won't let you directly promote your own program there without paying an advertising fee.
