Hello.



Thank goodness a new ejunkie affiliate told me my links weren't taking people to the correct place!



What I want to do is have EACH of my products go to a landing page with an upsell that it has.



But, I am seeming to be FORCED to have a common hop link page - all of my products listed so far go there. But that is NOT what I want.



How do I disable the COMMON HOP LINK. I can't get away without entering SOME linK under COMMON AFFILIATE SETTINGS.



But I don't want to use that, I want each product to go to it's OWN landing page.



Can someone advise please?

True, once you have set up a Common Hop Link, the Seller Admin won't let you disable it. Our Development team can probably do that for you, but bear in mind that will mean that any affiliates who already obtained a Common Hop Link for your program will find those links no longer work, and in the future if you disable any product-specific Hop Links or delete those products, any Hop Links issued for those products would no longer be able to continue working in fallback mode by redirecting buyers to the Common Hop Link URL. You might consider just setting up a simple page with links to each of your product pages, then make that your default Common Hop Link URL.



If you do still want us to disable your Common Hop Links, email your request with your E-junkie account password, or your original activation code would suffice if you still have your original "Account information" email from us:

And, if I take my affiliates to a separate landing page for each affiliate product, enabling me to capture emails etc. I assume that if a sale happens after this you still track back to e-junkie so I can pay affiliates with commissions?



I want to make the right decision before I contact support to disable the common hop link.

Yes, when a buyer clicks an affiliate hop link, that sets a cookie in that buyer's browser which expires in 6 months. Any product of yours with affiliate sharing enabled which that buyer purchases from you during the lifespan of that cookie will earn the referring affiliate a commission for the appropriate share percentage (product-specific % on any items purchased which have one, common % on all other items purchased).
