I noticed when I run PayPal reports, the Item ID shows up as simply "Shopping Cart Item" instead of the item ID I assigned it here on e-junkie. This is problematic as I pay someone to process orders and I use a code on the shipping labels to indicate how much of which products to ship.

Is there any way to get this information to show up in PayPal OR is there a way to track this through e-Junkie. I saw a page about analytics but I'm afraid I don't quite understand how that will help me.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

We don't have any influence over what PayPal shows in their reports; if there's any way to get a report with those details at their end, you'd need to consult PayPal help pages or support staff to find out if and how that might be possible.

That said, you might instead prefer to use your E-junkie Transaction Log for the purpose you described, as that does include all the order details including item names and quantities:

If you wish, you could also use our Integration feature to send order details to a custom script as orders come in (so your script could manipulate the data into a format perfectly suited for your order fulfillment needs):

...or just use our Multiple Emails integration method to have the order details emailed to another email address (however, this provides the data in a somewhat disorganized format that humans may find inconvenient to read):
