Hi,

I just tested the entire payment process of my site. After clicking on the PayPal payment option, the email address showing on the payment page is correct (mybusinessname@mybusinesswebsite.com).

However, when the payment was processed and PayPal's thank you page came up, it showed my personal email, not my business email. Any idea why? Could it be because my personal email is the primary one set up in PayPal? But how come my business email is the one showing up in the checkout page (where you enter your password as a buyer and then confirm the purchase)?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think at first it's showing the PayPal Email specified to receive the payment (determined by your PayPal Email setting in your E-junkie Profile), but later it's showing your primary email for that same PayPal account, as you've surmised. You may want to set your business email as your PayPal account's primary email.

We would recommend getting the free upgrade to a PayPal Business account, which should lift the monthly payment receiving limit on personal accounts, allow you to specify a business name that would be shown during checkout and in PayPal payment references (rather than showing buyers your PayPal Email address), and optionally allows your buyers without a PayPal account to to pay with a credit card on PayPal's checkout site, among other business-minded amenities. You can use this link to upgrade to Business if you haven't already:

This help page explains more about that card-payment option:
