I'm selling access tokens for my product. I need to customize the email that delivers this token, because by default, the email only states:

_____________________________________________________

Dear John,

Your code(s) for product:

http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com"

_____________________________________________________

That's it.

Because it gives no explanation or instructions to the buyer, I know I'll be getting piles of silly emails asking me where the product is -- as well as frustrated returns -- from all the buyers who don't actually know what a "code" means or don't realize the url is there to be clicked on.

I need the message to explain and instruct:

"Below is the access code for (what you purchased). Please click on it now."

Where do I go to change the default?

Thanks in advance!

You can add more to that particular message within the product settings, in the email field. Our default messaging does not appear there but anything you type in will be added after our default information.

You can also disable the default messaging by checking the "Enable Templated Email" box, which allows you to write the entire message yourself while using our templates for specific information like download links/codes, etc. Our help page here explains everything:

As a reminder, there's actually two types of email we send out. The "common" email goes out for every order as its own message and it can be viewed and edited at Seller Admin > Edit Account Preferences. However, item specific information like codes and download links go out in product specific emails which are contained within each product's settings.

That was a huge help, thank you. Did the trick!
