Hi,
I've searched on Google Conversion Code for the answer here, but others seem to be using the same GCC for all their products.
I need to add product specific Google Conversion Code to each order's Thank you page to monitor sales. But how do I do this? There seem to be two options.
a. Separate Thank you for Your Order pages on my site
Your page http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.redirection.htm suggests that a custom url for product specific thank you pages will NOT work to deliver a File Download link to a client. Am I reading this correctly?
If so, where do I put the product specific Google Conversion Code? There seems to be a problem here if e-junkie doesn't allow me to specify a separate product specific thank you page for each product I'm selling.
I can't see how to measure product specific cart abandonment problems and actual paid purchases using my product specific Google Conversion Code if I can't use Google Conversion Code post checkout ... Is it possible to do this and if so how?
b. Separate Thank you for Your Order pages at e-junkie
Your page http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.custom.thankyou-page.htm suggests that I can customize each Thank you page by inserting the product specific Google Conversion Code. But it then goes on to say that "that will disable the default message shown above and show your custom HTML instead."
So then they don't get the link to download the products they've purchased.
So how do I insert the product specific Google Conversion Code in e-junkie Thank You pages and still give them the download directions.
Note that there's another possible wrinkle in that one product uses EJEJC_multiAdd with the Order page is on my site. It had to be done this way because of ejunkie restrictions for pdf stamping for multiple products.
I can't use the General e-junkie Thank You page since my Google Conversion Code is specific to each product purchased.
So how do I get the product specific Google Conversion Code into each Thank you page, either on my site or at e-junkie, and still give them the products that they've purchased?
I look forward to your help here...
