How in the hell do i set this redirect up?

ok, i am having an extremely hard time tyring to figure out to to set this up how i want to.



heres what im looking for.



sales pages--->(click the buy button)--->paypal--->(click the pay now button)-->Page 1 of my choice --->product download page(with the expiring link code)



so far it seems like as soon as they pay using paypal the download link is automatically emailed to them..but thats not efficient for me. i ABSOLUTELY have to send them the download link AFTER they've been through my sales process.



can somebody walk me through this.

Hello,



It is true that we will automatically email download links to your buyer after a purchase, but it is not necessary to make your buyers wait for that email.



If you are using PayPal it is going to be necessary for the buyer to manually click through to reach your thank you page after they have completed checkout. That will take them from PayPal's site to the thank you page we generate that contains your download links.



Replacing the thank you pages we generate with one of your own choice will slow down that process and require the buyer to wait for their email.



So, to clarify, the process is: Sales Page > Buy Button > PayPal > Confirm Checkout > Click Continue > Product Download Page.

so there isnt a way that i can send them to a seperate page in between the click to continue and the product download page

On second thought, one thing you might be interested in trying is something we describe here: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/tips.redirection.download-link.htm



You could make a page on your own site and display our thank you page and download links in an iframe within that page -- making buyers read through your sales process and delivering your download links after that.



If there is anything you need your buyers to agree to before making a download, though, I strongly recommend taking care of that before they begin their purchasing process.
