I have multiple items on my page and the overwhelming number of grey boxes is driving me crazy!
Does anyone know how to use radio buttons instead of the grey boxes to add items to their shopping cart?

It is possible to setup your page to use radio buttons. Here is an example of a merchant who uses E-junkie who has done so:
