How did this transaction process correctly?

I am bit baffled, but I am sure there is an answer. Transaction id = 0Y706318KL903694B This was a test transaction that I didn't expect to go through and it did. The product is in my account and also loaded into the e-junkie marketplace. However, I have changed the ipn return path in my paypal account to another website and not the e-junkie path. When I made the purchase, I received my copy of the e-mail and also the customer e-mail. How did it actually work when the ipn patch I have paypal has been changed? Thanks in advance. Kevin

Our cart/buttons always send our IPN requirements to PayPal with each checkout, which override any manual IPN settings in your PayPal account for that order; this is how our system receives the order data along with payment confirmation from PayPal, so we can process those orders for you. Any other payments you might receive unrelated to E-junkie would continue using the IPN settings in your PayPal account.



If you need us to forward the IPN data to another script after we receive it from PayPal, that would use our custom/third-party Integration feature documented here:
