Hoping someone can figure this out. My bundle doesn't check to see if an item is in stock (0 inv). This is a problem.



ok so we sell hats, shirts and stickers. I MUST have the system track inventory accurately.



so i have several hats using variations:

Hat#1

BJPennSignatureHatGroundSmallMedium,50.00,4.00,0,Ground Shipping,S/M,

BJPennSignatureHatGroundLargeXL,50.00,4.00,0,Ground Shipping,L/XL,

Hat #2 etc

BlackandGreenTruckerHatGroundSmallMedium,25.00,3.00,0,Ground Shipping,Adjustable Size,



I also have Shirts:

Shirt item#1

THE PROBLEM IS is when I create a new item/button such as "BECOME A MEMBER, get 3 items"

and I use the

"Package files from other product, affect their inventory"



i choose my items for the bundle, but when I use the bundle button, it does not check to see if the shirt or hat chosen is in stock.



am i doing it wrong? thx

A bundle product (using "Package files from other products or affect their inventory") cannot check/affect the inventory of other products that use Variants with Inventory Control, since we have no way of determining which particular Variant(s) of the other product(s) the bundle product should affect.



I'd suggest setting up your Membership product with Send Stored Codes to have it issue a discount code the new member could use to discount their shirt/hat order. Given your variety of items and their prices, these discount codes would probably best be set up as a flat amount off All Cart Items, good for the combined price of 3 basic items, which would also allow them to get fancier items if they prefer and just pay the difference. This would be similar to setting up Gift Coupons, except that the Membership product itself would also be the Gift Coupon product:
