box.js appears to set 2 cookies from google (checkout.google.com and google.com). Why does it do this, and is there any way off turning this off?
no, there is no way to turn that off currently.
Are you going to make it possible to turn that off? Also, what are the google cookies for - are they tracking my customers?I ask because I'm not using google checkout, and I can't see a reason for the cookies to be served.
We'll eventually provide ways to turn those off. They are set by Google scripts we include for supporting google analytics.
Ok, this script does not kick in now unless you have analytics code placed on your shop
Excellent work, thank you.
