I altered the GA code on my site to incorporate remarketing while retaining the E-junkie analytics code. Unfortunately, once I did this I stopped getting data from the shopping cart. Has this come up before or are there any work-arounds.

I've since changed my e-commerce code back so that I'm getting the transaction data, But since the content pages (code with remarketing) and the product pages now have different codes , any time someone clicks to a product page it looks like a new visit.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Our version of the GA code will only work as-is; it cannot be altered to add other GA functionality nor combined with other GA code provided by Google. If you want to use GA features which are not included in our version of the GA code, you would need to abandon using our version of the GA code entirely and instead use tracking code provided by Google. In this case, you would also need to add your GA tracking code to your thank-you page(s), and you would give up your ability to track cart button clicks and use Ecommerce Tracking.

Thanks for your response. Any chance you might consider updating to allow remarketing functionality. I can't stop e-commerce tracking but I really would like to test remarketing.

As an FYI I was searching work-arounds and came upon this thread at Shopify on the same topic. Shopify did make the necessary adjustments and frankly I didn't get the feeling it was that difficult for them.
