Based on the instructions here

http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/6167

1. I have my base affiliate share set to 33%.

2. I have the "Extra Percentage" for each affiliate set to 17%

3. I used to have per-product affiliate percentages, but I removed them by setting them to zero.

Expected: calculated affiliate share should be 50%

Result: calculated affiliate share is 17%

IOW the "extra percentage" is over-riding the base, instead of being added to it.

ex: on a $75 purchase, the affiliate is getting $12.75, or 17% This is wrong. Please advise ASAP.

If you enable a product-specific hop link, you must enter a product-specific share % you want to grant for that product, as that would override your common share % on all affiliate-referred sales of that product, regardless of which kind of hop link the buyer followed. By setting the product % to 0 or blank and enabling its hop link, you are effectively disabling standard affiliate commissions for that product, so only the Extra % you grant to individual affiliates would apply.

Click "Setup product-specific affiliate programs" in your Seller Admin, select the product and click Edit Affiliate Settings, then either disable the product hop link (uncheck "affiliate links will link to a page on your Web site") or if you wish to continue offering a product-specific hop link, enter an Affiliate Share % which is the same as your Common Share %.

At present it is not possible to enable a product-specific hop link which just defaults to your common %; eventually we plan to make the product hop link and product % settings independent, but for now enabling the product hop link always makes the product % override your common %.
