Hello German E-Junkie users,

which Payment gateways do you use to accept NON-PAYPAL payments (like credit cards, bank account transfers, etc).

Almost all supported gateways are US only, which is quite frustrating. Is there some kind of workaround for this? Any advice how to get started?

Thanks, Robert

2CheckOut seems to be very limited :(

Are there any plans to add more EU payment processors in the (near) future. Like Paymill, for example?

We do eventually plan to add support for other payment processors with better coverage for non-US merchants, so we'll put your Paymill suggestion on the wishlist. At present we're hard at work on rebuilding our Admin panels from scratch in HTML to replace our current Flash-based Admin, so once the new Admin is completed, that will allow us to add any new settings required to implement major new features and functionality such as new payment processors.

Can't wait to see the new HTML version! It's about time.

Can you give a rough estimate about when it will launch?

Will there be new features... and can you talk about them?

We're tentatively hoping to have the new Admin done by the end of this year as a conservative estimate, probably even sooner if possible of course, but we won't rush it into production before we're sure it's truly done, fully tested, and properly sorted out.

Initially, we're just shooting for feature-equivalence with our current Admin, to keep the project scope focused and prevent feature creep that would just set things back further. Once that goes live, we can start modifying the new Admin as needed to add any controls and settings necessary to support new features and functionality.

That said, we are at least taking the opportunity to make interface usability improvements (without changing things too radically) and remedy some inherent limitations of the current Admin -- e.g., since we won't be limited to a fixed Flash applet size, we can consolidate settings that currently span multiple, sequential panels (such as product configuration and shipping settings) onto a single, larger screen (i.e., no more Next buttons! :^).

Nice! Thanks for the insight. Given the complexity of E-Junkie, I can surely understand why it takes so long to re-do it from scratch. Good luck with it and happy coding!

Is it possible to have a payment processor with PayU?

regards

Piotr

Ok, I understand there are many payment systems, most of it with only local popularity, and PayU (most popular in Poland) may be far on your priority list. But is it possible to make/integrate with e-junkie payment processor by third part, i.e. hired programmers? In other words: may I hire programmers to make PaU integrations with e-junkie or this part may be only created by e-junkie team?

regards

Piotr

Unfortunately, third-party programmers would not be able to develop an integration with E-junkie for an unsupported payment processor. Of the payment services we already support, it appears PayPal and 2Checkout should both be able to support merchants based in Poland.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunatelly, it's deal breaker.

Yes, there is PayPal available in Poland, but no PayPal Advanced, so customer must first create PayPal account to pay - no payment with credit card. 2Checkout seems to not have polish currency and polish language.

Thanks for your time, I hope my remarks helps you build better service. I'm going to WooCommerce. Sorry and bye!

I'm not sure if PayPal in Poland may differ in this regard, but PayPal's checkout site can usually offer a card based payment option for buyers without a PayPal account, depending on your own PayPal account type and settings among other factors, as we explain here:

http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/faq.paypal.card-checkout.htm

However, that would not offer a separate "Pay with Credit Card" checkout button in your cart; the card-based payment option would only appear on PayPal's checkout site after the buyer has already clicked the "Pay with PayPal" checkout button in your cart. You can use our cart customization method to add custom text in your cart explaining this and/or replace our default PayPal checkout button with a custom button image:

http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.custom-cart.htm

E.g., you may wish to use this Pay Now button with card logos:

...or one of the Polish button images PayPal provides here:
