Just got an email from Paypal that states that as of Feb. 2009, they will no longer be sending payment notifications. It did state that if you have your IPN directed at a download service, that it would not be effected, and those notifications will still go through. However...and I don't know if anyone else does it this way...I rely on those PayPal emails to let me know when I receive an order. I print the order from the PayPal email, come here to eJunkie, then check the printed order against my logs to make sure the customer received their downloads ok. I then file the order for my records/bookkeeping. Without those payment notifications from PayPal...which include the itemized order... does that mean that I'm going to have to log in here, or my PayPal, a zillion times a day to check for orders??? Is there any kind of set up here at eJunkie that will send a copy of the orders to my email???
