Externally hosted files and charges

I tested a product with just about 40 buyers that has a file size of like like 50megs ind it was like 23 bucks to update. Obviously this high of cost is more than I can justify once I have a lot of sales on an item.



If I have my files hosted externally on my own server that does this charge go away seeing you only have to send an email?

We don't allow sending updates of product which have remotely hosted files. You can however simply send an update with no file at all and add a URL of the file you have on your website and then the update cost would be reduced to around $3.
