Hi,

I'm about to launch a new product and want to send everyone who bought my last product an email offering them a chance to buy the new product at a discounted rate.

Is there a simple way of exporting all my customers' email addresses without copying each one manually and adding to my own address book?

Thanks!

Thanks for the swift reply.

I'd figured this out already, but is there a way to export it?

Yes, on the page we linked above, you can use the Download Results button to save any list view to a file, which you can unzip and view/modify in any spreadsheet program like Excel, iWork Numbers or (free) Gnumeric. If you want to export the list of buyers for just one particular product, you can select that product in the menu, click View Results, and then Download Results.

Thanks - I guess maybe I should have read the page more carefully.

That said, I have downloaded the file and tried to open it with two different expander utilities, but it doesn't seem to open. I get a window up like it's opening it for a fraction of a second, then it disappears. I've tried searching for the unzipped file on my computer but it's not there.

Any idea what's going on there?

I'm afraid there's no way for us to tell what's happening on your computer directly. If you are having a hard time finding the file you are downloading please note the folder you are saving it to when you are downloading it. We also can't give you any direct advice on the spreadsheet program you are using so you would want to refer to its support documentation directly.
