I just got off the phone with Google Wallet for merchants. Their phone number is +1(855)925-5386. They reaffirmed my research into this issue. For all sellers of digital goods, including those who do NOT sell through Google Play or other Google Services (i.e those who sell via a website), you will not be affected by this transition. The only thing that has changed is that Google Wallet can no longer be used to sell physical goods, but if you sell software through your website, you shouldn't be affected by this change. Now suddenly when we try to login, we are redirected to Google Wallet which shows no transaction history or balance! We've tried to contact them 3 times and each time we get an automated response to clear our cache.
Thoughts? Can you offer any assistance?
Upon further investigation, I found this:
"If you are using Google Checkout to sell digital goods, you will need to move to Google Wallet for digital goods or in-app billing to continue processing orders." In order to do that, it appears you simply need to sign up for Google Wallet for digital goods at: wallet.google.com/merchant (using the same account you used for Google Checkout is best as it is the easiest way to transition to Google Wallet for digital goods).

It seems like e-junkie customers will NOT be affected by Google's move to Wallet. This is a message on my payments page:
ATTENTION: On November 20, 2013, Google Checkout will no longer be supported. Sellers of digital goods on Google (Google Play, Chrome Web Store, Offers Marketplace and Google Wallet for digital goods) will automatically transition to Google Wallet and will not be impacted.
We qualify under the phrase "Google Wallet for digital goods", yes?
If you are selling digital goods, yes, you should be able to continue using Google Wallet.
From what we've been able to tell at this early stage, our existing Google Checkout integration should continue working as-is with Google Wallet for Digital Goods beyond November. By that time, we will have means in place to detect when an order contains tangible goods, so we can disable the Google Checkout/Wallet checkout button in the buyer's cart in that case.
Actually, we just got word from Development today clarifying their plans regarding the retirement of Google Checkout. They will be upgrading our integration with 2CheckOut to support full-cart checkouts before Nov. 20th, which will take priority over implementing Google Wallet for Digital Goods. That will only be required if you wish to start using 2CO right away with Buy Now buttons (not Cart buttons). Those steps (D. and F.) WILL NOT be necessary once we implement full-cart checkout integration with 2CO. New APIs at 2CO's end will allow us to pass-thru product details from our end without having to match up to an existing product profile at 2CO's end anymore, so product-level settings will become unnecessary.
Note that we have NOT YET completed this upgrade, so our current 2CO integration that you linked is the only method that works for 2CO with us right now. Meanwhile, if you'd rather wait for full cart support, you can go ahead and register with 2CO, set up your 2CO Seller ID, Secret Word, Approved URL and Return Method, and then once we finish upgrading our 2CO integration, a 2CO checkout button will appear in your cart and work with your existing product settings and button codes.
Hello E-junkieGuru, on a simpler note: My site currently only has "Add to cart" and "View Cart" buttons, all payment processing happens from the cart.
Do I need to do anything about the Google Checkout situation? Or will E-Junkie automatically update my shopping cart to reflect the absence of Google Checkout when it happens?
I ask because I got an email from Google stating that it appears my site still uses Google Checkout and I should remove it from my site, but there's nothing to remove (I think)... everything my customers order goes into the shopping cart and from there the payment options are shown by you, right? Is there a setting I should change or anything?

You don't need to do anything. If you leave things as they are, you can continue accepting payments with Google Checkout right up to Nov. 20th when Google deactivates it, then we will stop showing a GC checkout button in our cart after that point. If you wish to stop accepting payments with GC before then, you can simply go to Seller Admin > Edit Profile, delete your Google Checkout Merchant ID and Key, then click Submit to apply changes.

Typically merchants using ClickBank do so to take advantage of their affiliate network (which you may wish to do anyway), but there's no reason you couldn't use them as just a payment processor. One caveat is that we can only support ClickBank with Buy Now buttons, not as a checkout option with Cart buttons, so you wouldn't be able to use any of our features which depend on the cart:
