Does this solution work on flash site also? Are there any particular special requirements to implement a cart from a flash page? How is it done?

E-junkie does work with flash sites. If you are using our buy now buttons, then it's simply a matter of using the URL from the button code in flash.
If you want to use our cart with a flash site, please see "flash" section in our help page <http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.flash-shopping-cart.php> .
Sorry, E-junkieExpert is not an E-junkie employee, just a helpful fellow merchant, and that post is over two years old. This is our current help page for adapting E-junkie to a Flash-based site:

E-junkie is a centrally-managed service that runs on our servers, rather than software that runs on your own site; we only provide button code to paste into your page, which calls a script into your page to operate the overlay-style cart display in your page and otherwise interface with the software at our end, so there's nothing to install or configure at your end. Normally, you would simply copy-paste our ready-made HTML code into your HTML-based page, so for a Flash-based site you would need to have some Flash programming skill to adapt the code we provide into your own, custom-written ActionScript.
