Hi,

When I use google chrome to buy a song off of my web page, through paypal, the song will download 98% and then freeze up everything on my computer, then I have to restart my computer, lose my money and I don/t get the song.

I can download just fine in Firefox.

Can you help?

We haven't had other reports of such a problem with Chrome, and we have been unable to reproduce any issue downloading from our system with Chrome.

What you describe sounds more like the download is actually completing, but then some other software is kicking in that causes the freeze/crash. This may be an anti-virus scanner that's trying to start up and scan the completed file once the download is complete, or possibly an add-on download manager or other extension for Chrome that's misbehaving.

Make sure you have only one antivirus program installed; these often don't play nice together when more than one is installed and running concurrently. My own tests using Chrome were performed with the free Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus software installed and running on my computer, and that all worked just fine.

Hi there, I'm having a small issue with Chrome. I have three buy now buttons, I click one and then "Continue shopping" from cart and click the second item to add it also to the cart, but the cart no longer shows the first item and only shows the second item. I click "continue shopping" again, try the first item, and the first item has now replaced the second item. The third item is an "out of stock" product, again, clicking that then shows an empty cart.

In Opera and Firefox it works just fine, you can "continue shopping" and continue adding items and trying "out of stock" buttons etc. But it doesn't work in Chrome, as if it's not remembering the session whatsoever.

Would this be due to settings in Chrome, or some other issue?

Thanks for any help

Interesting point. I've now tried it in normal and incognito mode and same result both times.

Our cart is tracked via cookie, and it needs to be tested on a live site to work properly. Could you link us to your sales page so that we can test your buttons and see if we can recreate the problem?

Thanks - It's not live. I'll let you know if there are problems once it's live in a few hours. Thanks!
