Hello, I have searched and wasn't able to find an answer. Rather than a link being sent to a customer after payment, is it possible for it to be a button in the email that says download? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, what you described is not possible. Thank-you email messages are plaintext only, and they only provide a link to the buyer's thank-you/download page, because not all email reader software can handle HTML formatting or direct download links in the email message itself.
