Download attempts in single files vs packages

I have seven PDF files for download, either as a single file or as part of a seven-file package. I have the single files set to six download attempts and the packages set to eight attempts.

If someone buys a package, the email, when it arrives, says there are eight attempts available. But when a buyer clicks on the link, each file says six attempts available. Seems an easy fix, changing one or the other, but is there something I'm missing. Why would it ask me to specify the number of download attempts for a package when that will be overridden by the single file downloads?

Thank you for bringing that discrepancy to our attention; I've reported it to our Devs for correction.

For products that use the Bundle Other Products setting, the bundle product's link expiry settings apply to all download links issued for that bundle, rather than using the expiry settings of single-file products included in the bundle.

Meanwhile to prevent any buyer confusion about this, we'd advise setting the bundle and single-file products to have identical link expiry settings.
