Discount Text Field Shown Above "Buy Now Button" On My Web Page

I did not enter a universal discount in the cart. I want to offer a discount to affiliates and others only.



In the discount text code where in the code block do I enter the discount percentage? What specific text do I enter?

I think I might be asking the wrong question. Looks like I enter the code for discount in the Edit Discount... page under Seller Admin. And ejunkie will apply the discount once the discount code is entered into text block above checkout Buy Now button. Is this correct?

Yes, the buyer would enter the Discount Code they want to redeem in the text box above the Buy Now button in your page. Bear in mind that only certain types of discount can work with Buy Now buttons:

If you want to offer a type of discount that will not work with Buy Now buttons, then you would need to use Cart buttons instead of Buy Nows, so in that case buyers would enter their Discount Code where indicated in the cart, before they proceed to checkout.
