Tyson, thanks for your reply. I understand the basic concept of affiliate systems, but I don't think that's exactly what I need. If one of my employees is out in the field and lets someone know about our product, then that person goes to our website and makes some purchases, I want the employee to get credit for those sales. If I made each employee an affiliate, then they would have to have their own web pages, or customers would have to click on a link in an email or something to get to our website in order to keep track. It seems like a coupon code system might work better, in which each employee has a discount code assigned, and gives it out to potential customers. Does this sound plausible? If this worked, is there a way of keeping track of the total sales amount associated with each coupon code? Thanks for your reply.
