Discount code with paypal and google checkout

I am currently using PayPal and Google Checkout on my website. If I setup a discount code, how will it work with their systems?

E-junkie Cart shows a discount code entry box. The discount is calculated and applied before cart is posted to Google Checkout or PayPal.
