Hi:

Right now I sell only one tangible product but I will be adding a second product soon. For the existing product shipping in the USA is free, for Canada $5 and for the UK $9. I'd like to add a second product with free shipping to the USA, $2.50 to Canada and $5 to the UK. Is it possible to have two products with different flat shipping rates?

You can make it work if the UK rate could be derived from the Canadian rate by the same multiplier factor for all products (e.g. double, or 1.8x, etc.) -- will these be a flat rate per unit, per-order regardless of quantity, or per every X number of units?

Unfortunately the multiplier will not be the same in all circumstances. I've decided to open another account with a secondary paypal email address and configure the shipping rules for just the second product... an extra $5 a month is not a big deal.
