I am from the UK, and therefore my Google Checkout only processes orders in GBP. However, as most of my customer base is global, many of my products are sold in USD (in fact, all at the moment).

I cannot use Google Checkout for these orders, but I would like to be able to use it as an alternative for UK orders.

The trouble is that if I have my Google Checkout ID set up in E-Junkie, a button that allows payment using Google Checkout appears in the shopping cart. If somebody clicks on it, they see a (very) short page saying that orders cannot be processed in USD with Google Checkout.

Would it be possible to define a setting for Google Checkout currency in E-Junkie, and only display the Google Checkout option in the shopping cart if the currency of the product matches?

Thanks,

David

With Google Checkout, your pricing currency MUST match your Google Checkout account's currency, as you are apparently aware. There is no way to enable/disable cart checkout options on a per-product basis. However, you can use Buy Now buttons which take a buyer directly to checkout with a specific payment processor for a single product at a time, so you could provide Buy Now with Google Checkout buttons only with products priced in GBP, along with a choice of PayPal or other Buy Now buttons for those products, and all other non-GBP products could simply omit the GC Buy Now button.
