Hi -- I've been using eJunkie for years and I always, always receive an email when I sell something. But today, I didn't. I wonder if there is something new going on -- some change that I wasn't aware of? I only know the sale came through because I also receive emails from Paypal when sales come through.



Thanks for your thoughts. By the way, this is a brand new product, but it's set up the same as all my other products (as far as I can tell).

I am having the same problem. Everything was working fines yesterday and even this morning. Without any changes by me all of a sudden my customers stopped receiving download emails. The copy that usually gets emailed to me upon a sale stopped too. Everything else appears in order. I am receiving the funds in Paypal, the IPN information is all ok, and I can even see the transaction in my Ejunkie logs. Just the emails aren't going out to my customers.



I hope it is fixed soon.

UPDATE I tried sending myself a free email link and never received it. Given everything esle appears to be working fine I think the issue is with Ejunkie's email system

I just had a new sale. This one worked fine. Hopefully the Ejunkie email bug is now fixed

Good to hear, Jack. And when I turned my phone on this morning that sale from yesterday finally came through for me. So I think whatever was holding things up is now fixed. Fingers crossed. :slight_smile:

Sorry for the delay in responding to this post. There did seem to have been an issue where notifications of completed orders were showing up as read-only. All of the payments for these transactions were seems to have been handled via PayPal. Our development team have made changes at our end that have resolved the issue.

Same issue is again occurring this morning.



The sale processed through e-junkie and is in the transaction log, but emails (sale notification and code) have not been sent.



This is not a local/hosting issue as I have received the PayPal payment email and customer inquiry email.

I had a couple emails not go out earlier this month, out of dozens of transactions. It was not a huge deal, since the customers contacted me and I could get them their information.

We did have a technical issue this morning which stalled emails from going out promptly. We have now corrected that issue, so any delayed emails should have been delivered by now, and we are planning to replace forthwith the hardware unit which caused the email delays today and a couple weeks ago. Thanks for your patience and understanding, with our apologies for the inconvenience.

This has been occurring again since at least 9/26 8:56 PM CST.

Landro, I'm seeing only one order in your Transaction Log that we've processed for you today, at 17:51:15. If that's the affected order, that product is correctly configured to send emails, so most likely it wound up in the buyer's spam folder, or perhaps the buyer's email provider is having a delivery delay issue. We are not having any general issues sending emails today.



If that's not the affected order, its absence from your Transaction Log would indicate we never received IPN from PayPal confirming completed payment, so follow the troubleshooting steps here to sort that out:

BTW, we would have responded to your issue sooner if you'd emailed us; we usually only check this forum once or twice a day, and the voicemail you left on our service outage hotline didn't mention any details we could use to identify your account and troubleshoot your specific issue.
