Testing the demo cart, I found the following issues:



(1) I was really pleased to see that FatFreeCart Pro worked on the iPad. However adding "E-Junkie Music Button" and "Angel" Google Checkout produced an error stating that the order couldn't be processed due to a mix of physical and digital goods - this didn't appear to be a problem with PayPal or when the same combination was tested with GC using Safari on a Mac. (And didn't appear when a single item was in the cart.)



(2) Attempting to use the Cart on IE6 the pop-up cart just states "Loading" with the revolving icon and does not progress beyond this.



(3) In IE7 works fine but the the PayPal button doesn't display - empty image box instead.



I'm really keen to implement the trial on my website but don't want users to be faced with hiccups when using it. Can these be fixed? (Or won't they be an issue when I use the actual live cart?)

Responding to your concerns in order:



1) Is due to a policy Google Checkout enforces for all checkouts placed from mobile devices such as smartphones and the iPad; this does not affect orders placed from a regular computer. Yeah, we think it's a pretty strange and arbitrary policy, too.



2) & 3) Sound like just a temporary connectivity issue or network routing glitch from your location at that time, the same way a Web site might seem briefly slow to load or nonresponsive for one person at times when it loads up just fine for everyone else. That's just the nature of "traffic jams" on the Internet as they come and go.

Thanks for your response. With this knowledge I can place a notice on the webpage about GC and buying from mobile devices.



I was testing IE 6&7 in VMWare Fusion using a copy of XP. They were on the same connection and I tested them immediately one after one another. However, since I haven't had the chance to test using a regular PC with IE6 or IE7 installed as the main browser I will take your word on this.
